Calvary Chapel Christian Academy
The staff and administration at Calvary Chapel Christian Academy believe our school is an extension to our parents' wholehearted commitment to raise their children in the Word of the Lord. (Deut. 6:6-7)
Verse of the Week
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise; as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
II Peter 3:9
Quote of the Month
Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

Meet the Staff

Pete Lang
Pastor of Student Ministries -
My name is Peter Lang and I have been serving as a pastor since 1995. I have been involved with Children's Ministry and elementary education since becoming a Christian in 1979. It is my desire to see that our students receive the best education and spiritual training possible. There is no investment more important than the one we make in our children.
Mrs. Brown
Assistant School Administrator -
I am so excited to be a part of the CCCA family this year. Not only do these kids get an excellent education, but they learn just how much Jesus loves them. So far, my favorite time at school is Chapel. I love hearing the kiddos sing with all their hearts during worship. It truly blesses me!
Mrs. Kerwin
Assistant to the Teachers -
In 1972, I graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO with an Evangelical Teacher's Training Assoc. Credential. I began teaching in 1981 and my experience has been in first through sixth grades. I graduated from CBU in Riverside, CA in 1990 with a BA in Liberal Arts and a Multiple Subject Credential. I have been teaching at CCCA since 2007. I am currently the Asst. Principal. I enjoy working with all the students and teachers to make our school a better place to learn and work.
Mrs. Keeler
Kindergarten Teacher -
God has given me a great desire to mold these young minds to love God and also to read, write, add, and many other things. I have worked with children since I was 16 and always with the young ones. God was preparing me for this job, which I love. I have over 35 years experience with teaching this age group and still love the light in their eyes when they know an answer or how to read a word.
Mrs. Curtner
1st / 2nd Grade Teacher -
I graduated from Cal Baptist University with a B.A. in History and have also completed numerous graduate courses in education at that University. I have also substituted often for the Corona School District. Being a part of the church all my life I have worked with teens for about 15 years. I am so excited to take on this new experience and adventure with CCCA. I hope to inspire and encourage your children to develop a desire for learning and enjoy each day at school this year.
Mrs. Lang
3rd / 4th Grade Teacher -
I have been teaching here at CCCA since 2005. I am a graduate of CA University San Bernardino with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and I hold a Multiple Subject Credential for the state of CA. I have experience teaching first through fourth grades. My philosophy for teaching is that every child should have the best opportunity for success, so I strive to provide a safe and inspiring environment for children to reach their maximum potential.
Mr. Kerwin
5th / 6th Grade Teacher and Director of Education & Finances -
At 28 I was called to leave northern California and attend CBU in Riverside. I earned my BA degree in Liberal Arts and a Calif. Teaching Credential in 1990. I taught nearby until our church, Calvary Corona, started this school in 2004. I began teaching in Kindergarten and taught most grades until I reached where I am now teaching fourth, fifth and sixth grades. I enjoy this age group because they have the basics down and we can use that knowledge to explore God's world around us.
Mrs. Kathy
Teacher's Aide / Kindergarten
I have worked with children many years in Awana and Sunday School. Working with Mrs. Keeler in Kindergarten is a blessing. To see how much the children learn is amazing. My favorite time of the day is listening to them pray and recite their Bible verses. I feel blessed to be in this Christ-centered environment.
Mrs. Lisa
Teacher's Aide / 1st Grade
My girls have been students at CCCA for the past 3 years and loved this school right away. I have volunteered my time throughout the years whenever and wherever it was needed and enjoyed it so much. Last year, I was blessed beyond words to be brought into this amazing school family as a 1st grade teacher's aide and recess/lunch aide. I love working with all the children and watching them grow into amazing students who love our Lord! I'm looking forward to this coming year!
Kamie Roundy
Teacher's Aide / After School Care
This is my second year at CCCA, and I'm very excited to be here. In the past I've worked with children of different ages in various groups, such as VBS, Awana, and Calvary Kids. I've served in Children's Ministry and childcare for bible studies as well as the childcare for the marriage ministry. I've worked in babysitting for the last 6 years, and I currently serve as a co-teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade on Sundays. I am very excited to be working with your kids again this year!
